Island Delight (4): This is a mixture of lime, strawberry, and pineapple. I mostly just get the lime and pineapple. The strawberry is just barely in the background. This one is a nice tropical scent. The throw is medium/strong.
White Nectarine & Pink Coral (3): This one throws pretty light. I get the nectarine and some clean notes out of it. I do like it better in soap form and in Peachy Pink Coral but by itself it's just ok. I don't think I'll repurchase this one.
Watermelon & Lime (4): This one is really juicy! I love Vic's lime and the watermelon in it is like a jolly rancher watermelon. Great blend of the two!! Makes me want to go out and get a slushie. The throw is medium on this one.
Raspberry White Mocha Latte (4): This is a really nice coffee scent! I get the syrupy raspberry as well as the white chocolate notes. It's really strong too which is nice. I'll definitely be trying more coffee scents in the future because I love these!!
Orange Vanilla (4): This one smells exactly like an orange cream Popsicle (like a dreamsicle). It's really nice and creamy. I haven't tried Victoria's dreamsickle scent, but I'm not sure anything could smell closer to the actual thing than orange vanilla. The throw is medium on this one!
I'm going to divide the scent shots from my May 1st order into 2 posts.

Should have the rest of the scent shots up next week!!
Now onto the daily review!
Indonesian Delight (4): This one is really pretty. I get some citrus notes and lily. Again, I'm not sure about my reaction to lily, but this one didn't really bother me that much! I may have to go for the candle. The throw was pretty good with this one.
Kim's Country Cornbread (4): This one smells like buttered cornbread. It's almost in the same vein as Fresh Baked Bread, but this one isn't nearly as yeasty as FBB. I really disliked that one, but I really like this one. It's also 1/2 of Cajun Cornbread which is amazing!! The throw is pretty good with this one. I may be getting a candle in this one!
Coconut Hibiscus (3): This is a really nice scent, but the throw is extremely light. This one was crazy oily too so I'm thinking that the oil didn't permeate the wax very well. I do like the scent a lot it's a good mix of sweet coconut with a floral background, but I probably won't be reordering due to the throw.
Peachy Pink Coral (5): Love this! It's a Customer Creation by Kayla and it's a mixture of White Nectarine & Pink Coral and Blushing Peaches. It is SO yummy warm!!! I think it's better than either of those two individually. It smells like a bag of peach rings mixed with some syrupy strawberry notes. It's amazing!! Definitely will be getting this one to replace my Blushing Peaches and White Nectarine & Pink Coral candles!
Cantaloupe Lily (4): This is a really good blend of cantaloupe and lily. The cantaloupe is true to the fruit. The throw is medium. I'm not sure about whether or not I will get this in a candle because I might be allergic to it.
For the next couple of weeks I'll only be doing scent reviews. Regular posts will resume the week of June 3rd (hopefully).
Now onto the daily review!
Spanish Sunrise (5): This one is really good and the throw is pretty strong. It's a mixture of Morning in Madrid and Mango Smoothie. I mostly get the mango smoothie, but there is a kick of orange from the Morning in Madrid. I need to get this one in a candle for sure! It's so juicy!!
So this time of year is ridiculously busy for me at work. Hopefully I'll have time to at least do a quick post everyday and still burn something everyday. For now I have to run though!!
Now onto the daily review!
Love Spell (4): This one is nice, but I think I prefer it mixed with other things more. It's a dupe for the Victoria's Secret fragrance. It has a ton of different fruits in it, but it also has a musky perfume note. Takes me back to Jr. High when EVERY girl was wearing this. Probably won't get it in a candle by itself, but I love it in Love Birds and Sexy in Stilettos
I was so excited to rip into it, but I had to wait a bit since the box came on a day that I wasn't really around home much.
Eventually I did get into it and got out all the goodies!!
For this one I'm only going to focus on candles. I'll post my scent shot review next week.
We'll start off with the CBV Surprise Candle. This one has 5 different layers as you can see. The top is something with Cherry...not sure at this point, but it's nice.
Next I have my Strawberry Angel Food Cake candle. I've been eyeing this one for awhile and finally decided to take the plunge. The top layer is fresh picked strawberries, and the bottom layer is angel food cake. The strawberry is very much a syrupy strawberry scent. It's nice!
I got my first 8 oz tureen in this order. I decided to go with the scent combination of Raspberry N Kiwi. I really love both scents and these little guys are just too cute!
I also picked up the last three Black Label candles to make my collection complete. Earthquake - spicy cooking scent, but not bakery. Heavy on nutmeg, ginger, and all spice. Tuxedo - middle-aged man's cologne. Almost like an Old Spice. Salty Dog - Juicy Fruit gum, apples, and some cinnamon.
Next I got a 9 oz sampler pack. Cleopatra's Closet - musky, more mature and deeper version of Bella Swan/Sophie Belle. Lots of floral notes and musk. Enchanted Apple - Bath and Body Works Country Apple dupe. Nice, clean apple scent, kind of like a lotion. Lei Flowers - Plumeria, White Ginger; smells like a fresh lei in Hawaii! Wood Nymph - green skittles and fresh cut wood Exotic - melons and berries. Similar to Tiffany-D, but I like this one a LOT more Jacob Black - manly mix of pine, patchouli, sandalwood, ocean mist, woody notes. Heavier on the pine right now
And an 8 oz sampler pack: Blue Sugar Cotton Candy - blend of Aquolina Blue Sugar and Cotton Candy. Very nice, sweet men's cologne type. Love Potion No. 9 - smells like a mix of Bella Swan and Best Friends. Berries, sweet florals, and a hint of musk. Raspberry Zinger - perfect mix of raspberry and lime. Balinese Breeze - almost like an ocean/rain scent, but has a lot of fruits/florals in it. Very much like a tropical breeze. Love Birds - Mix of Lovespell and Birds of Paradise. The harshness of the lovespell perfume is toned down by the creaminess of the birds of paradise. Love it! Raspberry Violet - Awesome blend of tart raspberry and sweet violet. All-time favorite fruity scent!
And the video for the candles!
I have 76 scent shots to review, so I'll probably do that next week :)
Now onto the daily review!
Singapore Sling (5): This is what lemon pound cake is supposed to smell like. It's got that buttery pound cake that dominates the scent, with the lemon support in the base. Probably jumped to my favorite Black Label! Can't be without this scent.
Had to do a throwback today. I really loved this game when it came out years ago. Replay value is also really good for me. I've tried maxing out my costumes several times, but never quite finished it. Basically this is the sequel to Final Fantasy X. This was the first in the series to feature a female in a lead role. In fact, all three playable characters are female. The leveling system is based on different costumes that are the various roles in the game (white mage, black mage, warrior, thief, etc).
Now onto the daily review!
Bouquet (3): This one surprised me because I thought it was going to be a lot stronger than it was. It is a mixture of sweet pea and magnolia. I'm not the biggest fan of magnolia scents, but I do get both notes in there. The magnolia is a bit stronger though. Probably won't be reordering this one.
Ugh I found out that ABC chose not to renew GCB for a 2nd season! WTF!!!! It's such a good show! Sign the petition to tell ABC they are stupid for letting this one go!
Apple Cinnamon Butter (5): This one is REALLY yummy! It's a really sweet cinnamon scent. I only get the slightest hint of baked apple. It's like a warm version of apple cinnamon butter.
Breath of Ireland (3): This is a nice floral. It also has some green notes in it as well. Not my favorite so I probably won't be getting a candle in it. The throw is pretty strong though.
Pam on CBV Addicts Unite posted the following video earlier this week and I just HAD to try the recipe. This thing was AMAZING!!
To start out, preheat the oven to 350.
In a medium pan, combine 1 1/2 cups of cream, 1 1/2 cups of brown sugar, and 1 1/2 tsp of cinnamon. Cook at medium heat until it's a nice brown color and is beginning to boil on top. If you cook it too long, the sauce will become a thick caramel, so it's best to take it off the heat before that happens.
Take 1 can of cinnamon rolls and 1 can of biscuits and cut each into quarters. Grease a bundt pan and place the quarters into the bundt pan.
Pour 1/2 of the caramel mixture over the top of the biscuits and cinnamon rolls.
Repeat the previous two steps with another can of biscuits and cinnamon rolls as well as the other 1/2 of the mixture.
Place the pan on a cookie sheet to catch any spillover and bake for approximately 45-55 minutes. Mine was a little overdone on top because it was a smidge too close to the coils.
Allow the pan to cool for 10 minutes and then flip the pan onto a serving plate.
Finally, take the cinnamon roll icing from the two packets and put that over the top while it is still warm.
Now onto the daily review!
Kiwi Kicker (4): This is a really nice kiwi scent. I do like the soap a lot better, but it does smell exactly the same. I just think it's better in the shower. It does throw pretty strong though. Not sure if I'll pick up the candle since I have the soap.
I watched this in theaters last summer. I loved the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh movie from forever ago and was super excited to see a new Pooh movie. I was kind of let down because this movie was REALLY short. It was still really good though. It has three stories rolled into the movie. The main story line has to do with Eeyore looking for a tail and Christopher Robin being "abducted." Super cute movie and the trailer is really cute too.

Life's a Beach (5): This is a fabulous scent. It smells a lot like orange skittles, but also has some fizzy in it. Definitely candle-worthy!!! The scent throw is medium.
Can you believe that it's already mid-May?! My busy time at work is finally coming to a head. Our student staff move in on Tuesday!!!! It's crazy that it's already here. All the students moved out of the residence halls this weekend so our staff is busy flipping the buildings getting them ready for summer usage. We have 2 weeks before our largest conference (Walmart Shareholders) checks in and they take up all of our beds.
Class-wise I finished the spring semester. Not sure about grades, but summer session doesn't start for me until June 4th so I have a few weeks to chill. I'm taking 2 classes this summer and then 3 in the fall. So far I have 18 hours completed and only need 15 more so I'm still on track for graduation in December!! Super excited for that :)
Now onto the daily review!
Cherry Candy Cane (2): The way the cherry and peppermint interact is kind of funky to me. The throw wasn't crazy strong which was really surprising since both notes typically do throw stronger. Probably won't be repurchasing.
The bowl candles are 16 oz of wax. The same bowl is used for Comfort Candles, Scoop Some Scent, and the decorative bowls. These have a 4-5 inch diameter so once you get a full melt pool the throw is crazy strong! They do take several hours to get a full melt pool though. They come double wicked so that helps, but it still takes me a good 5+ hours to get the full melt pool.
Not my favorite jar, but the comfort candles are awesome. Also, for SSS it doesn't really matter since you aren't melting it in the jar anyway. They do make good bowls after you're done with the candle though! Great for cereal :)
Now onto the daily review!
Macintosh Apple (4): This smells like when you bite into a red apple. Really good and fresh!! The throw is also decently strong. I'm not sure if I'll reorder the candle because I have had it a long time.
I tried playing Minecraft on PC a few times, but I only have a laptop and the controls without a mouse aren't very fun. However, it was recently released on XBOX 360 and I love it there! It's a sandbox game where you can basically create your own world. Everything is based on blocks in the world of different materials. You can craft different items, build a house, grow food, etc. Pretty fun way to kill a few hours :)
Now onto the daily review!
Banana Walnut (1): I was really hoping this would smell more like Banana Nut Bread because I remember seeing a review where someone said that it did. On cold throw, it wasn't too bad, but when I warmed it up I had to take it off the warmer because it was making me nauseous. I've said on here before that I can't handle nutty scents and this is one of those. Even though I love banana, the nut note in it just killed it for me. Throw was pretty strong.
Really Bravo? A special about Kim Zolciak's wedding? OK, not going to lie, I watch this trashy show lol. Hey, it's better than Flavor of Love (barely). Of all of the Atlanta housewives though, I think Kim does make the best spin off. This show is ridiculous though. A 7 figure wedding and 3 different dresses. Outrageous.
Now onto the daily review!
Cabernet (2): This smells like wine mixed with grape medicine. It didn't really smell too medicinal on cold, but warmed up it came out more. The throw is pretty strong. I won't be repurchasing this one.
Papaya Waterlily (5): This one is amazing! I love the way the papaya and waterlily mix. The sweet, juicy papaya mellows out the floral notes in the waterlily and it's a gorgeous combo. The throw isn't as strong as I would like, but I think I'll still go for a candle in it!
