Day 274 - Island Spa

Currently Burning: Island Spa

Now onto the daily review!

Island Spa (4): This is quite nice! I really wish that I had more of this one, but I got it from a Round Robin box and it was less than 1/4 of a SS to begin with. I get grapefruit right off the bat, followed by some other fruity notes like cucumber and lime. There's also a slightly herbal note from cilantro in the background. Good for summer!

Day 273 - Country Fair Funnel Cake

Currently Burning: Country Fair Funnel Cake

Now onto the daily review!

Country Fair Funnel Cake (3): This one is SUPER buttery. I wouldn't necessarily say it smells like funnel cake, but more like super buttery pancakes (without the maple). Nice, but really rich and heavy!

Day 272 - Coco Lime Verbena

Currently Burning: Coco Lime Verbena

Now onto the daily review!

Coco Lime Verbena (4): This is another Bath and Body Works dupe. It's really pretty. I was scared of the verbena at first, but it's just a really nice, soft, sweet fragrance. I think this is one that almost everyone would like.

Day 271 - Because of You

Currently Burning: Because of You

Now onto the daily review!

Because of You (2): I'm really disappointed with this one. It smells absolutely amazing on cold throw, but I don't really get anything when it's melting :( I put in 1/2 of a scent shot like I normally do and I have to stand over it just to smell it! I really wish that it threw more because it's freaking awesome on cold throw!

Now onto the daily review!

Citrusmoon (4): If you're a citrus lover this is an absolute must-have! It's really yummy and juicy. It has a ton of citrus notes, just a hint of floral, and some other fruits like apples and pears.

Day 268 - Fair Day

Currently Burning: Fair Day

Now onto the daily review!

Fair Day (3): This is a mix of caramel apple and cotton candy. It's more of a macintosh apple. I mostly get the caramel apple out of this one and it's very similar to just plain caramel apple. Not bad, but I like Spellbound better.

Day 267 - Autumn Apple

Currently Burning: Autumn Apple

Now onto the daily review!

Autumn Apple (4): This is a customer creation of Autumn Leaves and Apple Cider. I get more of the Autumn Leaves when it's warmed up, but it does have a really nice cider in the background as well. Great for Fall!

Day 266 - Blueberry Cornbread

Currently Burning: Blueberry Cornbread

Now onto the daily review!

Blueberry Cornbread (4): This is one of my favorite blueberry scents from Victoria. It's Kim's Country Cornbread mixed with blueberry. It's slightly salty but the blueberry really sweetens up the cornbread.

Day 265 - Rapture

Currently Burning: Rapture

Now onto the daily review!

Rapture (1): This is a Victoria's Secret perfume dupe. I think I'm allergic to this one because it made my eyes hurt after awhile. It's an ok scent, but not worth the pain lol

Day 263 - Weekly Scent Recap #27

Currently Burning: Blackbird Pie

Now onto the daily review!

Blackbird Pie (4): This one almost reminds me of a Christmas scent because it has orange and spice in it. It's really good though! Nothing like blackberry cobbler which I assumed it might.

Day 261 - Fruit Your Cares Away

Currently Burning: Fruit Your Cares Away

Now onto the daily review!

Fruit Your Cares Away (3): This one is a combo of granny smith apples, honeydew melon, strawberries, pears, and spice. I mostly get the honeydew melon. I do get a little bit of the apple and pears as well, but I don't get any spice. It's a nice fruity scent, but nothing spectacular.

Day 260 - CBVBB September Haul

Currently Burning: Tropical Temptation

I made my first CBVBB order since June! I was really excited to try some of these that I've been wanting for awhile :)

To start off, I got a back up of Berry Me Alive. I adore Melissa's version of this scent and I knew that I had to pick up another since my first bar is almost gone! This smells like a really creamy orange with some cotton candy mixed in. CBV Berry Me Alive smells mostly like cherry.

Melissa sent me a sample of Love Potion No. 9

I also got a full size bar of LP#9. I really like this one, but it doesn't smell dead on for the CBV scent. It smells a lot like the Bella Swan soap as opposed to LP#9. Of course, I think that LP#9 smells like a combo of Bella Swan and Best Friends so that might be why lol.

Next, I picked up a DKNY Delicious bar. This is a dupe for the DKNY Be Delicious perfume and smells like a perfumy apple type scent. I do think that this one is good for girls and guys though because it's heavier on the apple than the perfume note.

I've been curious about Tiffany-D for awhile. I had the scent shot a long time ago, but didn't really care for it because I'm not big on Honeydew Melon. It's a combo of vanilla, honeydew, watermelon, and cotton candy. This is really nice! I got the bar because I tend to like that a little better than the rounds, but Melissa offers it in both sizes :)

Blackberry Amber is one that I had never tried from CBV before. I'm not really a fan of this one right now. It's a dupe for a BBW fragrance and smells like amber and musk. I don't really get any blackberry out of it.

Lemon Meringue is another one that I had not tried from CBV before, but I love this one! It's a really nice lemon with a good pie crust type note in the background. Most bakery scents haven't transferred well to soap form for me, but this one is awesome!

Melissa wanted to do a Mango Sorbett soap, but the oil was too expensive so she went with the next best option, Mango Smoothie. I LOVE this one!! The strongest note I get is orange, but it has a really juicy mango and some other fruits in there as well. This one is going to be AMAZING in the shower!

Barefoot in Blue Jeans was a customer creation by Deb and it's a combo of Blue Sugar Cotton Candy and Sexy in Stilettos. This one smells predominantly of BSCC but I do get some Lovespell as well! It's awesome and I love both scents individually so I knew I would love this one. It's a little smaller than I thought it was going to be, but the little yellow feet are too cute!

Faerie Ring is another customer creation by Jandre. It's a combo of Apples & Oaks and Raspberry Violet. Another one that I love the two scents individually, but together it's amazing!!! Plus this one is too adorable with the little psychedelic mushrooms on top. Love it!

The last one I picked up is the one that I was most excited for because it is one of my top 5 scents. Banana Coconut Cream Pie did not disappoint!! When I first got it, it had kind of the same funky note that the other bakery ones have had, but smelling it a couple days later and that scent was gone!!! I love BCCP but I just wish the candle was stronger. Now I can smell like it in the shower!

Here's the video to go along with the written review :)

Now onto the daily review!

Tropical Temptation (3): This is a pretty good tropical scent. It smells like a lot of really sweet fruits with some pineapple and coconut. It's good, but really similar to a lot of the other tropicals.

Day 259 - Cotton Candy

Currently Burning: Cotton Candy

Now onto the daily review!

Cotton Candy (2): I don't really like this one on its own. It has almost a plastic note in it. It's pretty good mixed with other things, but by itself it has a very light throw and doesn't really smell like spun sugar.

Day 258 - Autumn Leaves

Currently Burning: Autumn Leaves

Now onto the daily review!

Autumn Leaves (4): This is really nice for fall! I get a little bergamot, but mostly a very nice apple peel smell! I don't really get much of a leaf smell, but it definitely smells like Autumn!

Day 257 - Bound to You

Currently Burning: Bound to You

Now onto the daily review!

Bound to You (5): This is the Christina Aguilera scent that's in the Club Diva collection. I LOVE this one!! Cashmere musk makes up the biggest part of this, but it is also very sweet! It has a pretty good throw on it too. I wish I would have picked up the soap!

Currently Burning: Apple Raspberry Crumble

Day 255 - Peaches and Cream

Currently Burning: Peaches N Cream

Day 254 - Tropical Cooler

Currently Burning: Tropical Cooler

Day 252 - Night Blooming Jasmine

Currently Burning: Night Blooming Jasmine

Now onto the daily review!

Night Blooming Jasmine (3): This is a sweet floral, but it pretty strong. It's not to the point of being over powering, but it isn't quite on par with white ginger or lei flowers.

Day 251 - Bear Claws

Currently Burning: Bear Claws

Now onto the daily review!

Bear Claws (5): I've had this scent shot since February. I cannot believe that I waited this long to melt it because it is SO good warm. It's similar to cinnamon donuts, but with caramel. Love this one and I need to get a candle for sure!

Day 250 - Sweet Nothings

Currently Burning: Sweet Nothings

Now onto the daily review!

Sweet Nothings (2): This is a perfume scent and as such it has a ton of different floral/fruity notes. I definitely get some musk and amber, but not much else out of this one. Not a strong thrower at all.

Day 247 - Tuberose

Currently Burning: Tuberose

Now onto the daily review!

Tuberose (3): This is a really nice floral. It's a little bit more perfumey than I normally like, but it's still a good floral. You probably would need to like florals to really like this one, but it's nice.

Day 246 - Lemon Gingersnap Pie

Currently Burning: Lemon Gingersnap Pie

Now onto the daily review!

Lemon Gingersnap Pie (3): This is a nice lemon bakery scent. I do get a little bit of a gingerbread note. I do think something was wrong with my scent shot because it's almost like the oils and wax separated once it melted.

Day 245 - Maui Luau

Currently Burning: Maui Luau

Now onto the daily review!

Maui Luau (3): This is a combo of Mango Papaya, Pina Colada, and Plumeria. I definitely get the plumeria and pina colada. Mango Papaya doesn't really stand out to me and this one did not really have a great throw.
